  Golden Floral Plants on the 80th Birthday Anniversary of HM the King

To celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 80th Birthday Anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and its 15th anniversary, the Sirikit Botanic Garden will organise an art exhibition showcasing more than 80 paintings and photographs under the theme of “Golden Floral Plants”. The grand opening will be on 1st August.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Contemporary Art and Culture, Office of Culture in Chiang Mai and Chiang Mai University Art Museum, the land foundation will present a series of discussions, workshops and events being held during the month of July with the following scopes of learning: Self-knowledge through Vipassana Meditation, Natural Farming and Globalization, Media and Art. The talks and discussions will be given by experts and also highlight art and culture in everyday life, farming, globalization and contemporary art in Thailand. Admission is free.
